Mr. Samuel Makome, a member of the Board of Directors, is a finance professional who has served in financial services for over 30 years with most of these being in executive leadership. He holds a Master’s degree in organizational leadership and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Engineering from the University of Nairobi. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) London. Samuel’s immediate previous role was as the Group Chief Commercial Officer at the Equity Group Holdings. Prior to that he spent 10 years in the KCB Banking Group serving in various executive capacities which include Group COO, Managing Director Kenya and Chief Commercial Officer. He also served in international banks in various parts of Africa, the Middle East and Asia, and the United Kingdom.

Charles Njoroge has over two decades wealth of experience in microfinance. Charles is a founder and Managing Director in Jawabu Biashara Limited. Charles has gone through the full cycle in the provision of innovative rural and urban lending serving within the spectrum of lending entities rising to occupy the corner office as a Chief executive office in Micro Africa and Letshego Kenya. Charles wealth of experience spans across East Africa (Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and South Sudan), Eastern Europe (Kosovo) and West Africa (Sierra Leone and Nigeria). Charles Njoroge is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts – University of Nairobi, Masters in Business Administration (MBA-Entrepreneurship) from Moi University and a Master of Science (MSc Microfinance) from the State University Bergamo, Italy.

Mr. Samuel Gaita is a seasoned enterprise development specialist with over twenty years of hands-on experience in the lending sector. Throughout his career, he has built a strong foundation in micro-enterprise development and credit management, with a deep understanding of both the operational and strategic aspects of lending. Mr. Gaita steadily rose through the ranks to become Operations Manager at BIMAS, where he played a pivotal role in streamlining lending processes and improving efficiency. He later served as the Chief Operating Officer at Letshego (K) Ltd., where he continued to drive operational excellence and contribute to the growth of the institution’s lending services.
